What they say[edit]

“This Xmind plugin creates a mind map from any web page or Wikipedia article.

Instant mind maps!

Just click on the toolbar button to get an instant mind map from a Wikipedia article or from any URL.

Summaries can be created from web pages in English, German, French and Spanish. The language is automatically detected. The language for word definitions from Wikipedia can be selected on the preference page.”

Observations[edit]

Select a topic in an Xmind mind map, and click on the ‘Summarize by topic’ button. Then it will either map the keywords determined from the Wikipedia entry if there is one, or if the topic includes a full URL, it will visit that page and summarize that by keywords.

You can choose the language of the material being summarized from English, French, German or Spanish.
