Rationale is used to make argument maps, driven by asking, ‘Should I believe that? Why, or why not?’.  You can produce reasoning maps, which lay out arguments in a quick, intuitive way or analytic maps, which enable a more careful and rigorous analysis of an argument.

There is a professional version called bCisive, which has a separate entry.

Price: $199; (Educational $49.00)
