MindMap supporting web-based concurrent editing
  • BjornEgilBjornEgil June 2011
    Hi,

We are looking for a mindmap tool supporting web-based concurrent editing. The purpose is to capture a team discussion during problem resolution and to visualize it (mindmap)
    .

It should also be possible for persons outside the team to follow the discussion by subscribing to a discussion feed (a la twitter/yammer), and also
be open for them to comment on the discussion.

Does anyone know of a tool supporting the above, or set of components that could be integrated to support it?

    Best regards,
    Bjørn Egil

    Hi @BjørnEgil,

Mindmeister and Mindomo can do that.  They're the only two I can think of off hand.

Mindmeister also has the advantage of keeping track of changes - what and by whom - and allows reversing changes.  Mindomo may do that as well.  Are there any Mindomo users who can fill in?

And does anyone know any other on-line mind mapping software that handles multi-user simultaneous updating?

    Vic

Mindomo also supports comments on each topic. The sync is made real time, so you can visualize the development of the idea.

    I thought Comapping did this.

Thanks Andrew, it may well do.  Not my favourite style that one, so I've never used it for collaboration.

Howdy, Stranger!
