Interesting hand made mind maps

Sep 25th, 2008 | By | Category: Mind maps

My focus at mind-mapping.org is on software-made mind maps – well obviously, I do claim this as “the master list of mind mapping and information management software”, after all.  But in the past, I have pointed readers of this blog at a couple of resources for attractive hand made maps.

Now, here’s some more: A collection of hand made mind maps the Topicscape people have at their blog.  Called “The Great Hand-drawn Mind Mappers Face-off” they have five makers of hand drawn maps in one post, and a survey to find your favourite.  To see the enjoyable work of these rather special mind map makers, please go to this link:

Cheers

Thanks for letting me know about Mindmaple.

Sorry to communicate with you via comments on an old post, but I sent you the following as an email, and it was rejected as spam:

      I have some initial questions.

      1. The beta version is free, you say. Does the beta version have a limit on time of use?

      2. At first sight, Mindmaple looks pleasant. As I’m sure you know there are very many mind mapping applications, and it does look rather like quite a few other mind mapping applications, some of them well out of beta and still free. I’m sure you will have thought about this and have a plan to differentiate it from these.

Can you give me some indication of what its differentiators are – what is (or will be) a compelling reason to use this rather than one of the other mind mapping apps.

      3. Do you have a planned price for the final release?

      4. Is it to be released in languages other than English – Korean, for example, as I see you are based in Korea?

      Thanks.

I will continue to look at it, but it would help me to comment about it meaningfully on my site if I know the answers to the above queries.

      Regards
