Diagramic is a text-to-diagram, browser based application. Layouts can be chosen from three automatic options, and can be tweaked by dragging objects manually.
Here is in example of the type of text you will need to input to produce a concept map with Diagramic:
“Cognitive maps” -> “Undirected graphs”
“Cognitive maps” -> “Directed graphs”
“Undirected graphs” -> “Knowledge maps”
“Undirected graphs” -> “Concept maps”
“Undirected graphs” -> “Mind maps” …. …. and so on.
Forbes has a more extensive example of its use.
This is categorized as a concept mapper because it can draw webs/nets but it would not be possible capable of making a full and useful concept map with linking phrases.
Vic’s Picks are tools that Vic believes are significant and in the mainstream of mapping.
